Prices for a special commission character, historical or portrait doll start at $150. This includes base for doll. (Plus US Priority Traveling Expenses to your door & insurance) Prices for a SOFT SCULPTURE FOLK DOLL or FAIRY approximately 20" to 24" begin at $65. (Plus US Priority Traveling Expenses to your door & insurance) Commissions are available that allow collectors to specify preferences for most aspects of the overall design. An initial visit with the artist is included. This collaboration offers a unique opportunity to own a true one-of-a-kind doll designed specifically from another time era of your choice. The Doll Whisperer will interpret the information you convey to her into a museum quality heirloom portrait doll representing any time frame in history. Jacquie will create whatever your imagination can design. Each doll comes with an official adoption and guardianship decree signed and dated by the artist.
The final image of each commission piece remains completely private and is not published in any way by the artist unless written consent is granted by the consignor. However, this does not give the purchaser, or their representative, any copyright privileges. As with all art dolls created by The Doll Whisperer, (Jacquie Gulamhussein) commissioned dolls may not be reproduced without the artist's written consent.
A contract obligating both parties will be provided. The full balance is due upon notice of completion and before the item is shipped. If the balance is not paid within 30 days of the completion notice, the item will be forfeited.
